I’m experiencing technical difficulties with the Advisor app. Who can help me with this?

Troubleshooting:

When you are experiencing technical issues, as a first step, please close all of the apps you have running, including the Purple Advisor app, and restart your device. This generally fixes many issues.

However, if it doesn't help, you can contact our support with details about the issue at support@purpleocean.coPlease provide clear, specific details of the issue, and include screenshots if at all possible.

** To note your device's speed and storage also heavily affect the app's functionality and our team will always ask you to confirm these things. 

To check your storage:

Go to your phone's Settings-->General-->About-->Available (this may vary by device).

To test your speed, go to speedtest.net. (You can download the app here for iOS and here for Android.)

Please make sure you send screenshots of these results to our team if you are uncertain if your speeds or storage are adequate.

 

If you are unable to access your account due to password issues, no worries:

  1. Tap the "I forgot my password" text on the login page.
  2. Enter your email address and tap on "Reset password".
  3. Directions for resetting your password will then be sent to your email.

 

If you happen to remember your password in the meantime, you may disregard the password reset email, as your password will not change until you set a new one.
