What is the “Block Advisor” feature?
It allows you to block specific advisors so you won’t receive messages or orders from them, while still enjoying the rest of Purple Ocean.
How do I block an advisor?
Open the app and navigate to Settings > Blocked Advisors.
Search by advisor nickname from your paid sessions and tap Block.
Unblocking is also done there.
What happens when I block an advisor?
- Both you and the advisor cannot send messages to each other.
- You won’t be able to order services from that advisor.
- The advisor’s profile remains visible but inactive for you.
- The message field will be locked.
Can I block any advisor?
Only those you’ve had a paid session with.
Can I unblock later?
Yes, at any time via Settings > Blocked Advisors.
Will the advisor know?
No notifications are sent; they’ll just see a generic error if they try to contact you.
Can I leave reviews for blocked advisors?
Yes, for past sessions.
Can Purple Ocean Support block for me?
No. Blocking is self-managed in-app.
What if an advisor is harassing me?
Block immediately and report the behavior via Customer Support.
Our Trust & Safety team will act promptly to resolve the issue.
What if I block by mistake?
You can unblock anytime under Settings > Blocked Advisors.
